My name is Miles Davis-Majors is a 23-year-old first-time author from Long Beach, California. His debut book “A Basketball Story” is based on a true story.

In 2017 I worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Long Beach/WRAP program. Where I got to coach basketball for the first time at Long Beach School District's Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary School in Lakewood, California.

Years later I decided to make a children’s book about my experience with my basketball team's season with a touch of life lessons for young athletes and kids.
